Meet Craig Charles: The Barber Extraordinaire Craig Charles, a native of Boston, MA, is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in the barber industry. With a degree in Mass Communication from East Tennessee State University, he embarked on a remarkable journey that led to his prominence in the world of grooming and education.

Our Journey from Craig’s Crown Cutz to Crown Cutz Academy

In 2004, Craig’s career in the barber industry took off when he opened the doors to his very own barbershop, aptly named “Craig’s Crown Cutz.” Little did he know that this was just the beginning of an incredible story. Craig’s vision and dedication inspired him to take his aspirations to the next level.

In 2017, his dream became a reality when Crown Cutz Academy was founded. Starting in Johnson City, TN, and later expanding to Bristol, VA, Craig’s journey as an educator and mentor began. Crown Cutz Academy has become a hub for aspiring barbers, where they receive top-tier training and guidance to excel in their careers.

9. Sponsorship of the Annual Reggae and Wine Festival with Tennessee Hills Brewstillery: Crowncutz academy also sponsors Reggae and Wine event, an annual festival teaming up with Tennessee hills brewstillery always on the second Saturday in June.
